We hold as little about you as we can, and we do not sell or share it for marketing. This page says exactly what we hold and why.

Who is responsible

Santé Belgium BV, Moerputstraat 4A, 9100 Sint-Niklaas, Belgium, VAT BE 1031.718.031, is the data controller. Write to info@santebelgium.be about anything on this page.

What we collect, and why

• When you order: your name, email, delivery address, phone if you give it, and what you bought. We need it to take payment, deliver the beer and keep the accounting records the law requires.
• When you use a form: what you type into it, so we can answer you.
• When you sign up to the newsletter: your email, until you unsubscribe.
• When you visit: our host records standard server logs, including your IP address, for security and to keep the site running.

We do not build profiles, we do not run advertising pixels, and we do not track you across other websites.

The legal basis

• Orders: performing the contract with you.
• Invoices and accounts: a legal obligation under Belgian tax law.
• Forms and enquiries: our legitimate interest in answering you.
• Newsletter: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Who processes it for us

• Snipcart, which runs the checkout and holds your order.
• Mollie, which processes the payment. Card details go to Mollie, never to us.
• Google Firebase, which hosts the website and our own database where form submissions land. Our database is in the European Union, in Belgium.
• Google Fonts, which serves the typefaces. Loading a page contacts Google's servers.

Each of them acts on our instructions under a data processing agreement. We do not give your details to anyone else, and we never sell them.

How long we keep it

• Invoices and order records: seven years, as Belgian tax law requires.
• Form messages: two years, then deleted.
• Newsletter email: until you unsubscribe.
• Server logs: as long as our host keeps them, which is short.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable form. Email info@santebelgium.be and we will answer within one month. We may ask you to confirm who you are first, so we do not hand your data to someone else.

If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority, Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit, Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels, gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be.
